ABOUT JAMES
BAXTER

I have
provided these three services as
an independent consultant since 1983. Before
that, I worked as a factories inspector, as a safety and health
consultant in the steel and engineering industry; in child,
adolescent and adult education; in supervisor training and in agriculture.
I was also at one time retained
by a medical (NHS) practice.
Although
I have spent most of my life in Britain, I have also lived and worked in France and
Nigeria.
My university degrees
are in French and in Industrial Education & Training.
Several
of my essays have been published in professional journals
and Manchester
University's Centre for Adult & Higher Education published my paper Psychotherapy and Teaching.
I aim to supply clear and comprehensive
information about the services I provide before seeking any
commitment from prospective clients.
My main interest is
learning how people relate to one another and why.
Other
interests include playing badminton, skiing,
hill-walking and gardening.
I was born
in 1929.
